Sinead Hayes: Musical Director
Originally from Galway in Ireland, Sinead Hayes completed her masters in conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music in September 2009, winning the Mortimer Furber Conducting Prize. While at RNCM she studied with Clark Rundell, Sir Mark Elder, Mark Shanahan and Baldur Bronnimann. Sinead completed her BMus at City University, London in June 2008 and has participated in several professional masterclasses.

Jonathan Ellis: Accompanist
Jonathan started learning the piano at the age of three. From the age of 11 onwards, he studied at Wells Cathedral School, and then moved on to the joint music course of the RNCM and Manchester University. He achieved a first class degree from both institutions plus the PPRNCM diploma in solo piano, and has since attained postgraduate-level diplomas in accompaniment and chamber music, latterly studying with John Wilson.

Elin Rees: Assistant Accompanist / Organist
Elin is from Penarth, just outside Cardiff. She grew up in a musical family, performing as a piano and harp soloist and accompanist from a very young age, and began having organ lessons at Llandaff Cathedral at the age of 12. At 16 she won a scholarship to the Purcell School of Music, where she studied piano performance and organ.

Ronald Frost: Organist
Ronald was born in Bury and educated at the town’s grammar school. He has been Director of Music at the Manchester City Centre Church of St Ann since 1978, where to date he has given more than 1,000 organ recitals. He had held a series of posts in Methodist Churches in the Bury area until his appointment as Organist of St Aidan’s, Rochdale in 1953. In 1958 he became Organist and Choirmaster of Stretford Parish Church (St Matthew’s) and served there until 1969.
